Construction was recently completed on a new Poly, Inc. designed, 11.6-mile reclaimed water pipeline in Okaloosa County. The 20” pipeline is designed to provide a sustainable and cost-effective supply of reclaimed water for the City of Niceville and its surrounding areas.
Reclaimed water is treated wastewater that can be used for irrigation, industrial purposes, and other non-potable uses. It is a reliable and safe source of water that can help us reduce our dependency on traditional water supplies.
The new pipeline will provide additional reclaimed water to the City of Niceville, with the possibility of expanding to Valparaiso and Eglin AFB in the future. This will help to reduce the demand for potable water and make the region more water-resilient.
Poly, Inc. is dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to the water and wastewater industry. We are proud to have been involved in this crucial project and to have helped Okaloosa County achieve its water sustainability objectives.
Total Construction Cost: $8,000,000
