Well #6 Rehabilitation
Ozark, AL | City of Ozark Utilities Board

The operators of the Ozark Utilities Board observed a decrease in the pumping rate from Well #6 over time, hindering their water production. They enlisted the help of Poly to assess the situation. It was discovered that the 17-year-old well pump and column pipe required removal and inspection. The inspection revealed that the pump was irreparable and needed replacement. After acquiring and installing a new pump, it was found that the existing column pipe could be cleaned and reused. Subsequent pumping tests confirmed that the well’s pumping capacity had been fully restored, ensuring reliable operation for many years.
